The Marion Public Library Community History Project announces the publication of Rough Times, oral histories collected by students in Advanced Placement US History and Advanced Placement English students at Marion High School during the 1997-98 school year. The book, a cooperative effort of the Marion Public Library and Marion High School, was compiled under the direction of Bill Munn, Terry Lakes, and Sue Bratton.

Rough Times is now available at the Indiana Room at the Marion Public Library Museum. Read about the lives of Grant County area men and women who lived and worked in the first half of 20th century. Copies may be purchased for $10.50 including tax. The book is available by mail at $13.50 including shipping and handling. Checks should be made out to MPL/CHP. No cash please.
