MPL & COVID-19
MPL will be re-opening with limited services and hours starting June 1.
Librarians already are back, answering phone calls 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday. You can use curbside pickup, either requesting your own materials or ask a librarian for suggestions. The copier will be available soon by appointment. Indiana History is still fulfilling requests even though it will remain closed through June.
Starting June 1, you will be able to do grab-&-go - pick what you want quickly and check out. You will be able to reserve computers for 30-minute periods. We ask you to wear masks (as we will), to keep at least 6 feet distance from others, and to stay home if you have symptoms or were exposed to someone who is sick.
What we will not have in June: Places to read and visit, physical newspapers to read, play areas, museum visits, Indiana History, meeting rooms, study rooms. The library has canceled all in-person library programs through June, and we will re-evaluate later events.

Our RESOURCES & NEWS features reports from local and state sources. Now there's STAYING HOME with a wide range of resources, from how to cook something from what's in your fridge and pantry.
We cannot accept donations of materials at this time.
The MPL Friends Book Sale will be rescheduled for a later date. Don't worry - we have plenty of Cool Stuff that you want.
